Please read the following before you start tagging. |
| To add a new Place |
Click on  in the menu bar, then answer some questions that will help you describe that place.
Please try to be as descriptive as possible.
For example, say USC Interactive Media Department
instead of just Interactive Media. |

The only information you will be asked for when creating a new account is a username, a password, and a rough location of your neighborhood, so we can figure out how far things are from you. It will not be hidden from everyone else. |

| Getting points |
| Each time you add a Text, Image, or Video tag, you earn points: |
| Name & Where* |
3 points total |
| What, When, How, Who, Why* |
1 point each |
| Image (upload, flickr link, etc) |
5 points |
Video (youtube, etc)

10 points |
* = required for posting a new place |

| To add an Image or Video |
 |
Click on  in the Place popup, then
choose one of the three options:
Upload Image, Flickr Link or
Youtube Link.

| To add an Image from your computer |
| Click Browse to find the image file. That's it. |
| |
| To add an Image from Flickr |
| Go to any photo on Flickr, then Copy the photo's URL and paste it into the Flickr Link box |

| To add a Video from YouTube |
Log in to your YouTube account, upload your video,
the copy and paste the link into
a You Tube Link on CityTagz |
